Ship-a-Car is a broker for the carrier which actually transports your vehicle. They arrange and add extra insurance to cover the transfer. Their process is as transparent a process as one could hope for a negotiated market where drivers are putting together enough cars to make the destinations profitable,
The carrier selected, ABLE CARRIERS, Inc. picked up the vehicle on time at a convenient meeting spot, and actually arrived early to the final destination but could not deliver our vehicle until 1 day late since other cars had to be dropped off first and were not open on Sunday. So, I split the difference and made it an on time delivery.
The price was fair, the service good, and I would use both parties happily again. Thanks.
