This was the first time I have had a car transported. The car had to go from Ft Meyers Florida to Western New York. I needed an enclosed carrier to protect the car from bad weather but had no idea who to use. I did a lot of research and read about the horror stories of using a broker. After exhaustive research and also checking BBB (they are an A rated company since 2008) I chose Ship a Car Direct. Stefan was my contact and always returned my call. He gave me a quote and stuck to the amount. The assignment of the carrier was a bit delayed since I was not available to accept delivery for a few days. Stefan told me not to worry and he was right. After a fer days, I was connected to Beth at shaughnessy overland express inc. What a great outfit. The trailer was like new with a hydraulic lift, had GPS so I could track it, the car was picked up on time and delivered early with no issues. Very professional group at a great price. Ship a Car Direct has videos for references on their website to help you through the process and send emails almost every day giving you status updates. They also have apps to use to document the vehicle condition at pick up and delivery in case there is an issue. What a great overall experience with both the broker and carrier. Could not have asked for anything more.
