All in all, I was satisfied with Ship-A-Car Direct. Cost was a bit more than what I was originally qouted- but, Ship-a-Car Direct did help absorb some of the cost.

I bought a 2006 Ford Mustang GT from Sparks Toyota in Myrtle Beach, SC and wanted the vehicle shipped down to South Texas. Though there were many options, I chose Ship-A-Car Direct after reading reviews. This was very important to me, for the sake of peace of mind. I had had a terrible experience with a shipping company back in 2011 in which the 1992 Ford Mustang GT convertible that I'd purchased from a seller in Missouri. The 1992 Mustang was placed under an old Chevy van and it leaked all sorts of fluids on the hood of our car, ultimately etching and ruining the finish on the hood. I had told the folks at Sparks Toyota and Kosta at Ship-A-Car Direct that I had one simple request and it was that the 2006 Mustang GT ride ON TOP. This request was met and that was a good start to getting the car safe and sound to me. Once the car was picked up, I had good communication with the transporter (Manuel/Manny) and with Kosta at Ship-A-Car Direct and I was even quite surprised when Manuel (the driver) called me one day ahead of schedule to let me know that he'd be delivering the car early. As I was hoping, the 2006 Ford Mustang GT arrived safe and sound. The only thing I didn't think was necessary was when the transporter jokingly suggested I tip him when I paid him my balance of $950 in cash.
