At first, I just submitted my information online a couple weeks before I planned on shipping my car. I wasn't familiar with the process and didn't realize that carriers don't commit until very close to the anticipated pick-up date. About a week before I wanted to ship my car, I called David and he explained the situation and helped find a carrier that would work with my set pick-up location and flexible drop-off location. Unfortunately he wasn't able to get me the cheapest price since I needed to ship my car over the holiday, but the cost wasn't too far off the original quote. The carrier was also very considerate and offered to store my car for free if I wasn't able to pick it up immediately. Bottom line, don't be afraid to call and have someone explain the situation.
