I have to say I was suspicious when I placed the order. It was nothing about Ship-a-car-direct, but the whole car shipping industry is kind of unpredictable and frustrating. I started comparing quotes pretty early on and this was not the best rate at first. But as it is suggested by most carriers, 1-2 weeks before shipping is really the best timeframe to place the order. And as the date approaches the quotes became crazy high for some other companies, but ship-a-car-direct gave me the same quote, and I immediately accepted the offer. The second day after I placed my order, Kosta found me a carrier and sent me the information. The truck driver was supposed to pick up the car on Thursday afternoon, but he gave me a call and explained that he could only come in late night or Friday morning as the traffic around Charlotte becomes really bad during peak hours, which I didn't have a problem with. We all know how traffic conditions can be unpredictable. Dennis the driver was extremely nice and he went out of the way to come in front of my office gate to pick up the car. The car was delivered on Sunday afternoon with no damage at all. My condo community has a steep driveway and it was hard for the truck to drive up, but Dennis parked the truck behind a shopping mall and delivered my car to my door. He also took off my EZ-pass so that I won't be charged tolls on the way! Very stress free experience. Kosta was also easy to reach by email throughout the process, but my experience went so smooth that I didn't feel a need to contact anyone after I placed my order.
