The good:

> No damage to the vehicle.
> As a company, Ship a Car Direct is built with simplicity and scalability in mind. This gave me the confidence that they would be on top of each step of the process.
> My communication with John, my main contact at Ship a Car Direct, was about as pleasant and efficient as it could be.
> The videos posted online on the Ship a Car Direct website are brilliant. These were part of the reason we chose the company.
> The pricing was also fairly competitive.

Possible suggestions:

> They send an order confirmation, but I had trouble finding a record in my inbox of my submitted Pick Up and Delivery addresses, etc. A record of this would have been helpful.
> Motion Auto Carriers LLC (my carrier) did not call 4-8 hours before hand as Ship a Car Direct indicated they would. Instead, they called just 2 hours before pick up, arrived late, and rushed the sending party through the process of filing out the bill of lading. Everything worked out in the end though.
> On Saturday or thereabouts, my carrier said he would arrive Monday or Tuesday. He arrived Wednesday morning. Again, not a big deal.
> I thought Jerry's emails ("PICA" division of Ship a Car Direct) were a little weird and off-color. There is no need for the acronym "PICA" and these emails could be improved by eliminating attempts at humor and otherwise tightening the prose.

Overall, our general conclusion was that Ship a Car Direct must be one of the best auto shipping companies out there. We did our research beforehand and were not disappointed. I would ship with them again in a heartbeat.
