I was wary of using any kind of transport services after reading some bad reviews on the internet. I randomly found ShipACar Direct and after doing more research, decided to go ahead and use them. Eve was my rep and through the experience has been very helpful, responsive and attentive. She communicated both via email and phone calls, and even texting.
She explained how the process worked on the customer side and what to expect, and that they only contact carriers that they trust or have experience with. We set a tentative pickup date and had to up the price a bit when no carrier wanted to pick up yet.
Finally I was assigned a carrier. The gentleman called me 90 minutes before pickup time and we set a meeting location in a commercial area since residential streets aren't designed for the carrier to maneuver.
Took photos using the app and sent the report in. Met the driver and we both did an inspection for existing damage then loaded the car onto the carrier.
He gave me his phone number and told me I could call to check on the status.
I did 3 times during the trip and he picked up all 3 times and was prompt and kept me updated.
The next phone call I got was from my friend who had received the car at destination. Everything went smoothly.

The only little hiccup I experienced was that the driver called 2 days ahead of scheduled pickup and only had a 90 minute window to meet him. I had plans with the car for that day so I had to improvise and re-arrange schedules around a bit. But I was told by Eve that it could happen and that the best is to remain flexible around pickup and delivery times. So that worked out just fine. The vehicle is a bit dirty upon arrival, but that is to be expected, as it's a long trip and an open carrier. So no surprises there either. I recommend a good detail and waxing BEFORE transport to provide wax coat protection against grime and mud.

I am happy to say that I would definitely recommend ShipACarDirect to friends and relatives and I will use them again in the future should I move again.
