I recently had an unplanned move across the country due to a new job. Originally due to the last minute nature of this, I thought the easiest thing would be to rent a trailer and tow the second vehicle behind the truck. Little did I know that most of the big rental companies charge nearly $1000 to rent a car trailer for you to use going across the country. Not to mention this impacts gas mileage, maximum speed limit on the trip, wear and tear on the truck, and you have the hassle of pulling a trailer during some not so great weather.

I reached out to Matt at Ship A Car Direct. Even though my request was last minute, he assured me that they would be fine fulfilling the request. The quoted price was less than what it would cost just to rent a trailer. That made it a no brainer. Less money, less hassle, less worry. Additionally, their cost was the lowest quoted price I had received. All the customer service and communication I received up until the point that I was assigned a carrier to transport the vehicle was top notch.

The transport company driver was great. He communicated pick up and drop off dates and times well. He updated me on the delivery date when it was slightly delayed. He was professional when handling the vehicle and putting on tie downs. If you are worried about damage to alloy rims, most carriers are using tie downs that don't even come in contact with rims.

My only real complaint is that during the vehicle inspection, the drive would use his hand to brush dirt on the car where he thought scratches were. Dirt being brushed on black sapphire paint of a vehicle usually doesn't result in anything good, just lots of small scratches. I haven't had time to was the car and inspect it due to weather, but I am fairly sure I can get out any scratches that may have occurred.

Overall, I would recommend Ship A Car Direct to all friends and Family. I would definitely 100% use this service again when the need arises.
