Ship a car direct informed what was going on but I had to ask a few times to get an update. I feel like there was minimal contact from them aside from automated emails and that talking to me was kind of an inconvenience for them. It kind of feels like they book for you and then sit back and collect the extra money you paid on top of the actual shipping company charge. To the companies credit, they have decent resources available that explain the process. I still kind of feel like the whole broker thing is a racket. For what it's worth, DKO Industries and Rod, the driver, were great. Super nice guy.
