I called Ship a Car Direct because they had the highest ratings and best reviews. We were looking to ship my daughters car from New Hampshire to California. My contact Bruce was very good at communicating with me about the progress of the pick up. He told me that since it was Christmas week it may be difficult to get someone to pick up the car since a lot of people were not working this week. When the new week started, we were still not getting any interest in the job. A friend told us that her son had just shipped a car with another company from Boston, Ma to Texas very quickly. I called Bruce who was located in Colorado and asked him if he thought that if we could get the car to Boston (less than an hour away) would that help. He said it was worth a try. He updated the job and got a response immediately. The car was picked up the next day and arrived in California 6 days later in perfect condition! I was able to be in contact with the driver along the way who kept me updated on the progress of his time frame. I would absolutely recommend Ship A Car Direct. The one suggestion is that if you are near a city you may get a faster response if you are willing to go there to drop off the car. We live out of the way and the price would have just kept going up to entice drivers. BTW my friends car was delivered by that other company with lots of little dents and damage. I passed on Bruce's info to her and she is going to use Ship a Car Direct this spring when her daughter moves to CA too!
