Selected Ship a car direct after reading online reviews and I was NOT disappointed. Eric was prompt to reply and give me a quote. Once I accepted the price a shipping company was assigned and their number given. The shipping company customer service representative was very polite and gave a date for pick up and once I agreed they gave a 3 hour window on the pickup day. On the day of pickup they called me when the carrier truck was 1 hour away from my location to be ready with the car. The car was duly inspected by the driver of truck and explained the different scratches that he saw on the car. He also gave me a rough route that he was planning to take based on other pickups he had and gave an estimated date of arrival at the destination which was 7 days after pickup since it was cross country move. The customer service member informed me 2 days before delivery that car was scheduled to be delivered on time. Day before the delivery date they gave me a 3 hour window of delivery and on the day of delivery they called me 1 hour before arrival at my destination. Again the driver after unloading asked me to inspect the car and compare with his initial inspection report. There was no scratch or dents. Also Eric from ship a car direct was regularly in contact over email. All in all it was a hassle free experience and I would definitely chose ship a car direct again. Only quip I have was that I could not use my credit card to pay the amount due at time of delivery to the driver. They gave me different options for payment of which I selected cash payment. It would be great if the amount due at delivery can be taken from the credit card which is already present with ship a car direct.
