Yes, shipping your car for the first time will be very stressful. Research the 3 ratings (BBB,etc) and you will find ShipACarDirect to be the best. My car went from Ohio to California in 4 days without a scratch. Once I placed my order with my representative, Scott, it took less than 90 minutes for him to call me with a shipper and that was for the Friday after Thanksgiving. I met the car-hauling team in the parking lot where I work, performed the vehicle inspection, they loaded my 78 corvette on the trailer and away she went. Scott said my car should reach my uncle in California in 7-10 days. The Tuesday after Thanksgiving he called and said the car had arrived. I do strongly recommend that anyone shipping a vehicle watch the car shipping information videos. They answer many questions. I think some of the negative statements are from folks who had unrealistic expectations. You have to be a little flexible. Ask your representative all your questions up front. This will relieve some of the stress while your car is in transit. Keep in mind, your car is only one of ten on the trailer. These drivers have deliveries and more pick-ups all over the country and that takes time. Be patient...it'll get there, honest.
