I had original concerns about the delivery of my vehicle since it was scheduled for a Saturday delivery but was not delivered then. I tried to call the auto carrier's phone number provided by Ship a Car Direct but was connected to a voice mail. I also used the 24 hour support team phone number of Ship a Car Direct, but they could not contact the auto carrier either to provide a status update on the delivery of my vehicle. Finally, I was able to contact the driver directly on Sunday morning by using the phone number listed on the bill of lading to learn that my vehicle would be delivered early that afternoon. My daughter met the carrier at the scheduled destination, paid the driver, and received the shipped vehicle in good condition without any damage or problems. However, the driver never requested any identification from my daughter before releasing the car. He just wanted his money for delivering the car.
