Shipping a Toyota from Southern California to New Jersey.

I was shipping a vehicle to my son in New Jersey. Had never done that before so I went on line for a site that would review & recommend various possibilities. Out of a long list, I decided to contact Ship A Car direct. I called Matt on a Friday afternoon & was given frank, honest & direct answers to my multiple questions. He also referred me to their website which contained very informative videos about the process. I informed him I had to co-ordinate with my son in New Jersey. After arranging acceptable dates for my son & I, I went back on line on Saturday and arranged the shipment. Matt got back to me via email & started the process, saying he would contact me on Monday with exact details of what company it was being assigned to. On Monday I received a call from him that it would be shipped via Unified Auto Transport in Southern California. They would come to our house, pick up the vehicle & start the transport process. Tuesday (the next day) I received a phone call from Scott at Unified and we arranged a pick up date for Friday (my most convenient date). On Friday (exactly when promised) the Unified local driver arrived at my doorstop to pick up the vehicle & take it back to their shipping hub in Los Angeles. That same week-end, it was dispatched to Jason & his large cross-country auto carrier transport. I next received a call from him early on Monday morning telling me that he was in Alabama & would be delivering the car to my son on Tuesday late afternoon/early evening. I couldn't believe how quickly & easily the process was being conducted. I was glad they kept me in the loop through-out. Summary (1) one day to schedule the shipment from Ship A Car Direct (2) next day call from Unified Auto Transport to arrange the pick up (3) Pick up in two days - on the date I requested (4) vehicle dispatched over that same weekend & being driven by Jason to NJ (5) delivery at my son's address was 4 days from when it left Southern California and (6) delivered to my son in the exact same condition that it left Southern California. No new damage. Nothing missing. So Matt @ Ship A Car Direct, Scott @ Unified Auto Transport & Jason the transporter dispatched by Unified - THANK YOU. This was a perfect experience at a very reasonable price. You guys are all in my smartphone contacts should I ever have to ship another vehicle OR if anyone should ask me for advise on who to use to ship a vehicle. You guys are the best. And I have a very happy son.
