Disappointed in Car Pick up

The lead up to the pick up and contract was excellent. I loved the helpful videos about the process. I gave over three notification for the car pick up. Four days before the pick up I still had not heard anything. I talked with Angela. She told me not to worry about it. It was being worked on. I called the day before the pick up and could not reach Angela by phone or email. I called on the date of the pick up and talked to another representative because Angela was not in. We needed to pick the car up because my daughter was flying back to Minnesota the next morning. We did not want to leave the car at the hotel. After a several phone calls in the afternoon on the day of the pick up, arrangements were made. According to the driver, he was told this was an emergency pickup. He picked up the car at 9:00 PM. He charged extra for the emergency pick up. While Angela shared in some of the extra charges, three week notice on the transporting of the car did not warranty an emergency pick up. Some place along the line, the ball was dropped. The car was picked up on Friday and delivered on Saturday eight days later. The coordination of the drop off went much more smoothly.

Unfortunately in this industry, lead time doesn't help get a carrier secured sooner, as you saw in our videos. We don't guarantee dates, and always recommend having a back up plan when scheduling things such as flights. Glad to hear that the rest of the shipment went smoothly!
