I was nervous about deciding on a shipping company after discovering that many are either dishonest or scammers. It's true that you'll need to do some research first and familiarize yourself with the way this business functions. I didn't mind that my car was a day or two late, I was just glad to receive my car at all after the countless negative reviews I'd read. I decided on Shipacar because their BBB account was the least problematic in terms of customer complaints. I particularly didn't trust the reviews on here because there are too many of what I call "extreme reviews", reviews that are overly positive yet lacking in details. It's true this business is sketchy and the call center people seem to deal with a lot of rude customers, I was educated going in, patient, yet firm when placing my order. They did send a lot of follow up emails to make sure my order was going smoothly. But you should know that after they assign you to a carrier, everything thereafter is pretty much out of their hands. I was connect to TFI Transport, there call center had great customer service. However, the opposite was true for my truck driver who barely spoke English. TFI had told me to meet somewhere while the driver told me to meet somewhere else, I think even TFI couldn't understand their driver. I received my car in ok condition. But, my front bumper popped out on one side. It was clear that while driving my car on and off the truck to load and unload cars, they had hit and scraped the bottom of the bumper, making it pop out. Forget these drivers being gentle with your cars, they are driving all day and trying to meet deadlines and make money.
