I've used Ship-a-Car Direct twice (LA -> Detroit, Detroit -> SF). Both times the service was easy to use, customer service was great, and pickup and delivery were on-time and handled well.

This review is for the second, more recent shipment. I got an online quote ($1050) and called Stefan to ask a few questions (if I can guarantee a no-late-than pickup date and no-earlier-than delivery date), and he responded promptly and courteously. I confirmed the order online, and received an automated email for each step of the process (securing the specific transportation company/driver, providing the initial payment online, confirming pickup, payment details upon pickup, and followup to delivery).

My transportation company was Tailwind Express- my driver, William, was friendly, warm, and left me confident that my car was in good hands. He stayed in text contact with me to coordinate pickup and delivery, and my faith was well-rewarded when my car arrived in SF undamaged and right on time.
