Other than a late pick-up, no complaints.

After pulling several competing quotes, Ship-A-Car gave me a very competitive price, and after reading a lot of positive reviews, I decided to go with them. Emily was very friendly, knowledgeable, and always available whenever I had a question. That was a huge relief for someone who had never shipped a car, and had a hundred other things to worry about while preparing for a cross-country move.

The only area where I felt they could have done better was on the pick-up. I had set a pick-up date of 6/22, and my one-way flight to California was leaving on 6/25. I wasn't assigned a carrier until 7/6, and the pickup finally happened on 7/7. Fortunately I was able to leave the car with family after I had relocated and they were able to handle the pick-up without me. And to be perfectly fair, I probably should not have set the pick-up window so close to my departure. Nevertheless, a two week delay felt excessive.

Once it was picked up, the car was in California a week later, and in great condition other than some dust and dirt from the road (which has to be expected on an open carrier).

Overall, it was a very positive experience and I would use Ship-A-Car again if I ever make another long distance move.
