Broker company ok, Shipping experience not so much

The company is a broker, so there's always going to be some miscommunication between all parties involved (broker, driver, shipping company, customer). There was always a great communication during the 'waiting period', where I had to wait for the actual shipping company to confirm/agree to the shipment as well as the confirmation of the car's pickup date. I was given an initial phone number that had a voicemail that wasn't setup and multiple calls went unanswered, which made the coordination for the car pickup difficult, so there was a one day delay. Once the car is picked up I had to coordinate the date/time/place of delivery, which was a bit of a back and forth, due to (again) unanswered calls and multiple phone numbers involved (shipping company, driver, customer service). I was told to be at the agreed place at a certain time, which I was, but when I got there all my calls and text would go unanswered. The shipping company set the time for the delivery and I asked for an additional 15 mins, because I didn't want to be late (!) While waiting, neither the shipping company nor the driver nor the rep would answer calls, didn't have a voicemail setup or the voicemail box was full. I had to wait for over 2 hrs practically on the side of the road and when I finally got a call saying that the driver was 20 mins away I still had to wait another full hour and I was told that there was a 'miscommunication' between the driver and the shipping company. A quick heads up to being over two hours late would have gone a long way. So would have a quick sorry. Didn't give me a receipt for payment in cash. None of my follow-up calls/emails were answered. The car was extremely dirty due to being carried on an open transporter. So this 4 star rating is basically for the broker, but not necessarily for the experience after the car was picked up.
