Placed order over a week in advance to have my car picked up on a particular day. Despite being reassured the car would be picked up on the requested day it was picked up 4 days late. This was a major problem as I had flown to the location of my car and had to return home before the car was picked up. I have no family or friends in the area so I had to ask the manager of the storage facility to take care of getting my car loaded. To me this is totally unacceptable. the website states repeatedly that they will pick up your car when you need it picked up, not 4 days late. To make matters worse, when I got my initial confirmation in the email it stated "Your estimated pick up date is currently 06/18/16. This is an estimate only." by my request was for 06/17/16. So this all started out with the company not meeting their advertised level of service. I had to email and call several times before I spoke with my representative and then I was handed off directly to the driver. Zero customer service. When I called the 24hr help center all I received was information on my order and no help correcting the problem. Bottom line, I paid for an airline ticket and rented a car so I could be present to see my car loaded on the carrier. I wasted my money because that didn't happen and the representatives showed no concern for my situation. I was the one who dealt with the driver, I was the one who had to arrange for a stranger to release my car to the carrier and I was the one who waited hours for it to be dropped off after being given an incorrect delivery time. I have no hard feelings toward the driver Ship a Car Direct hired, he did the job the company hired him to do. Ship a Car Direct is at fault here and it wasn't close to worth the $225 cut they received for booking the carrier. WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN!
