This was my first time shipping a car. Overall, the process was simple and I will utilize Ship a Car Direct in the future, if needed. I found Ship A Car online and my representative was David. David was pretty information but kind of no nonsense. Nothing wrong with that but since it was my first time, a little hand holding would have been nice. The online request to have the car shipped was super simple. Tell them what day for pick up and drop off, provide them with the car information and you pay your deposit. I was able to find out the total price for shipping the car early on as well. Very helpful. The deposit is like 25% and then cash on delivery. If you are shipping a car to another person in a different state, it is important to make sure the other person has the money as soon as possible. Ship a Car hires a company to do the actual shipping. I gave the shipping company (I won't say there name) the date of pick up and delivery. If you say August 1, they will pick up August 1. Make sure that you are available the entire day. I wanted them to pick it up the next day and i got a call on the day before asking could they pick it up my requested date in the AM. If you are working, it can be a bit of an issue. Drop off is the same. If you say deliver it on August 2, be prepared for that delivery. Even down to the actual time slotted. If I say noon, they will be there at 8:00 a.m.

Ship a Car did follow-up with me after the delivery so that was really good. Great service!
