I was happy with the truck driver and his friendliness, professionalism and fast turnaround. My car arrived a day earlier than he thought, which actually turned out to be better for me.
As to Ship a Car Direct, I have more mixed feelings about my experience. While they did provide me with the service offered, I found dealing with them frustrating: I never got through to my contact person quickly, and when I called her on it, she was very defensive, almost rude. Also, I think she may have forgotten to email me the explanation that the local transport would call me only 1-3 days in advance. I received that email when I expressed concern that I still hadn't heard from them 3 days out. I ended up hearing from them the day before the pick-up, so in essence, I couldn't turn them down. That was really hard for me to wait until the last minute to organize my schedule. With that being said, everything worked out as described, although it is by no means a smooth process.
