My experience with ship a car direct was ultimately positive, but required extensive communication with the coordinator/Scott and involved renegotiating price and pick up time several times. I ended up having to drive from my original departure location 60 miles to a larger city, then taking taxi ride back, which bumped my out of pocket costs up to $1,430 - not counting time spent with coordinator. All told, the price was on the high end for this distance.
