They couldn't find a carrier for my car until 5 days after my release date so I had to up my bid. The driver told us he'd be there the next day but then was delayed and didn't arrive until afternoon the next day. This disrupted plans I had for a farewell dinner (I was moving) which was a bummer since he didn't end up arriving that day.He was a very nice man though and did respond to our calls for status updates promptly. Even though it was then 7 days past my release date the car ended up arriving by my desired delivery date. The driver did mix us up with another delivery so we ended up waiting for over 3 hours in the parking lot where we had agreed to meet, very confused as he kept saying he was on his way or 30 minutes away etc. but wasn't showing up. He did finally arrive though and the exterior of the car was ok just very dirty. My driver's seat and door do have some black grease stains on them so I'm hoping I'll be able to get those out. The morning after delivery I noticed a rattle sound in the engine when I applied the breaks and the following day my car stalled out and the engine light came on. I had a thousand dollars worth of engine work fixed. I'm not sure if this was related to the car being shipped or not, I guess I'll have no way of knowing that and hope it was unfortunate timing. Overall the car got there on time despite some stress worrying that they wouldn't find a carrier before I moved so that was a relief. I had some delays with the driver but he was a really nice guy. Compared to my moving company experience this was a dream and I wish I could have had Ship a Car Direct move my furniture too! Their customer service is great.
