I worked with Eric from Ship A Car Direct. He initially talked me through the process and answered all of my questions. The price came in about $25 less than the competition and Eric was very honest (he pointed out the possibility of issues) and I trusted their philosophy (he also was willing to change the transportation company if, for some reason, I didn't feel comfortable with the one that was assigned), so I went with Ship A Car Direct. Four days before the earliest pickup date, I received a notification that the car had been dispatched to OSSO Corporation. They contacted me the day before to indicate that they were going to pick it up on the earliest pickup date. OSSO was actually hoping to drop it off before the earliest possible drop-off date (only 4 days across the country), but I wasn't going to be there yet. No problem, they would hold it for two days and deliver it on my earliest pick-up date. When I received the vehicle, it was about 10:15PM and it was dirty (as expected). I did my best to inspect it in the dark. After cleaning it the next day, there was no damage and all was good. Ship A Car Direct then followed up with me, by phone a few days later.

I have to admit, I was more than a little worried about shipping my car via this method. And when we talked to the moving company that is moving our furniture, their price was more than double what I paid Ship a Car Direct, so that made me even more nervous about the quality of service I might get. However, I would ship with them again if I'm in this same situation because the car shipped quickly, without a scratch, and I didn't pay an arm and a leg.
