I bought a car located on the East Coast through the Internet. I had it shipped to the Midwest where I live. Both the purchase and the transport were without problem. I was concerned for the transport, thinking there was less transparency in the transaction, and far less protection. However, Ship a Car Direct provided complete information on the process, costs, and protections as well as helpful emails and videos on how I could maximize my protection and maintain constant communication with the transport firm and driver.

This transport was more complex both at pickup (I was not there-left it in the hands of the dealer), and especially at the delivery end. While I do not live at the edge of the world, I can see it from here- -the delivery was quite off-the -beaten-path. Despite the long distance from major highways, the delivery date was 1 day earlier than projected, and the driver's time estimate was spot on. I walked to the door at the 1:00PM arrival time to find the carrier turning into the lot!

The purchase was for my wife. It was a nationwide search for a specific model and color, with only the one option on the East Coast. Because the delivery experience was flawless, I won't hesitate to buy nationwide again.
