I moved back to North Carolina from California after a family emergency in the fall on last year. I needed to get my car back to North Carolina but didn't really know how to arrange the time to drive it back because of some new responsibilities I had taken on due to the death in our family. I started looking on line and researching shipping companies. I got quotes from 5 different shippers, all different and some very much lower than others. I read reviews on the lower quotes and everyone said the price went up either before the car was picked up or before delivery. One shipper even told me they put it out for bid at the lower price to see if anyone will take it!!?? I spoke with Scott @ Ship A Car Direct on the phone a couple of times to get all my questions answered and feel comfortable before placing the order. I paid for the shipping with a credit card (for a small additional CC fee) so I wouldn't have to hold cash for the driver and my CC gives me an added layer of protection. I placed the order and paid the shipping one day, had a shipper assigned the next day, (Friday). The shipper gave an estimate of the following Monday to pick up the car. They called me and said they would be at the California address to by 10:30 am Monday morning and they were. I had figured 10 to 12 days shipping, the driver called me on the 8th day and said he would be at my house in 30-35 minutes, he was and the car was perfect, at the price quoted and paid. This was an Absolutely Perfect experience with Ship A Car Direct, no muss, no fuss, no hassles.
