Extremely rude driver

I am giving a two star review as opposed to one because Stefan was very prompt to answer all my questions and calls... my BIG issue was with the carrier I was assigned: First of all, I was notified TWO hours before the truck was going to be at the pickup location- this was due to a last minute cancellation, so I was understanding of this. The truck driver however then proceeded to refuse to drive his truck to the agreed pickup location (according to him, it was not big enough space for this truck... this was not true as the car was very accessible with no tight turns needed from the truck). The truck driver then proceeded to park his truck at a local grocery store across from the parking lot where my car was located...literally less than a 5 minute walk to my car. This truck driver then had the nerve to ask my 5 month pregnant friend who was giving the keys to PICK HIM UP from the grocery store and take him to the car... this was all happening during a cold winter Michigan day. My friend was unable to give him a ride as she didn't even have a car that day- because of this, the truck driver started YELLING over the phone demanding to be picked up! to which my friend rightfully so hung up the phone.
When the driver finally decided to take the 5 minute walk to get my car and keys, he was extremely rude... I was told that he quickly took off some sun-shade covers I had on the windshield, threw them in the back seat and started hitting them down to the floor. He then quickly drove off in my car... after being told this I was left terrified for how my car would be treated during the whole trip.
I immediately called Stefan and told him what happened, to which he was very surprised and apologetic. I was told that this issue would be looked into and someone else would give me a call back with the resolution to all this... it's been almost a month and I never got that call or any kind of discount for the poor customer service I got from the carrier.

So sorry to hear that the driver exhibited such behavior, Jose. We have reached out to you by phone for more information and to follow-up personally. We expect carrier drivers to use their words and to treat all contacts respectfully. This situation does not conform to our standards of service and if it helps in any way, we have already cut this carrier from our roster.
