HONEST review using Ship A Car Direct NC to AZ

I am an actual customer who had my car shipped from NC to AZ - picked up Feb 1 2016 - delivered Feb 5 2016. I began searching online for a transport company and was disheartened by all the horrible reviews describing peoples experiences. My fiance found Ship a Car Direct and emailed me the link. I also Googled them and was happy to see they had good ratings. I called and spoke Stefan. He explained how the process worked, asked about my time frame, and gave me a quote of $1175. It was higher than the ones I had gotten by email, but only by a couple hundred dollars. I went with their quote solely because of their ratings (I looked at everything I could find through a Google search) Stefan said he thought my pickup date (less than a week away) could be accommodated and it would take approx 7-8 days to deliver. I received an email a few days later that my assigned carrier was Shipping Experts Inc. They also advertised door to door shipping, however the driver called the night before pickup to say he could not come down the road where the car was to be picked up because there are overhanging trees and he was concerned the other cars might get scratched. Rather than being upset, I was happy they genuinely seemed concerned about the condition of the cars (reading reviews about other companies I saw damage was one of the most common issues). The driver was easy to work with and a drop off location was agreed upon. Despite the winter storms that hit the east coast that week, my car was delivered 4 1/2 days later. The driver called when he was about an hour away. He got with 500 feet of my house, called me when he arrived, and unloaded the car quickly. The car was dirty, but again, I wasn't surprised given it was transported on an open carrier, given the weather conditions of snow and rain, and the distance traveled. The car was not damaged in any way though and the driver was courteous and professional. Dale, from Ship a Car Direct, followed up with me following the delivery to see if everything went okay and if I had any issues. This was a stressful event for me, however, they handled everything and got my car to me quickly and undamaged. I would definitely recommend them and I would use them again in the future. (Came back to edit this after seeing posting - I was offered an incentive if I would do a review - however, I was in no way told what to say or even encouraged to say something nice. This is an honest review of my experience using this company.)
