We originally received a quote from another company and thought it was unreasonably high. A friend of ours had used Ship a Car Direct to move their car across the country and recommended we check their prices. The quote was much more reasonable. Even though we had heard stories about the runaround that often comes with these services, with Ship a Car Direct the entire process, from start to finish, was fairly straightforward.

We had already moved and a friend took care of handing off our car keys to the person who would be transporting our car across the country. Although they ended up coming a few days later than originally expected, they gave us and our friend, plenty of notice and carefully detailed the condition of our car with our friend present to verify.

We were pleasantly surprised when only a few days later we received a call that our car was expected to be delivered later in the day and they would bring it straight to our house in a few hours if we were available. We were running a bit late, but the driver was very understanding, patient, and kind mannered with us as we showed up a few minutes late for the pick up.

Overall, we had a great experience with Ship a Car Direct. The price was good, the service was quick, and everything was fairly straightforward.
