Karen (broker) was nice not to bother me too much by phone. The overall process of shipping a car feels like a gamble in general, with any broker or transporter. My advice: don't trust brokers who tell you they can ship your car at very low cost. It's a bid, so they can't know how much you'll end up paying before a transporter accept. However they can have an idea of how much a transporter will ask for. You got to wait for a transporter to accept the offer. Karen was nice enough to be upfront with me about the process. We started with a bid at 900, she got back to me a couple of days later and told me she found a transporter who'd accept to ship my car for 925.
