I did plenty of research and learned of many bad experiences. No bad experiences here. Tom Miller was very nice to work with; knowledgeable, prompt and courteous. The carrier that wanted the transport had no negative history that I could find online. Driver was fine.

The placement of the car is important. Mine was placed on the LOWER level of the transporter and the first one behind the driver. In my opinion this placement gets all the road dirt and filth thrown up from the road by the 10 truck tires ahead of it. There was also oil and grease spots, probably dripped from the car being carried above mine on the second level of the transporter. Fortunately, a carwash and an hour of handwash got the filth off my car. Not sure how you can avoid the issue. Prior to the transport when I asked Tom about getting my car on the upper level he said the placement did not matter. Perhaps this is a common experience.

Overall, I would recommend this transport broker above others.

I should mention that Tom's recommendation of price to list the transport at was very good. I think we went a little high but it resulted in carrier interest right away. MOST other transport brokers in my experience will BS you with truly lowball numbers, wasting your time and energy. Tom will help you avoid that experience.

Thanks for the informative review, Noel! Actually, vehicles get dirty on cross-country transports no matter where they are on the truck. But you are so right about realistic pricing saving time and grief!
