My carrier picked up my Hyundai Tucson on schedule (Monday) and he was very polite and professional. I was expecting a covered car transporter and it was not. The driver left Indianapolis the following Tuesday morning after the pickup and drove straight through to Texas. Unfortunately, the weather turned bad on him and he evidently drove through a hail storm. My car had numerous hail dents all over the body of the car. The carrier does not insure hail damage, but I would have appreciated a cover for my car if the forecast was for hail. The car was delivered Wednesday morning. He also did not leave me a receipt which should be a requirement for him. He said he would email it later. Overall, I was pleased with the service that "ship a car direct" provided me. Jason was extremely helpful in keeping me updated every step of the way and telling me what to expect during the process. I would use this company again, but would check the weather forecast and ensure my vehicle was covered.

Sorry for the confusion about enclosed vs. open carriers, Beth. The standard method of transporting vehicles is by open carrier and your order was priced accordingly. Hail damage is very rare, but we are sorry that it happened during your transport.
