Why did we worry?

After much research, my husband and I were really nervous to use an auto transport for both of our vehicles. However, ShipACarDirect had excellent reviews and we felt good knowing we could use Consumer Affairs to help arbitrate any issues. We now wonder what the fuss was all about.
We lived in a small southern AZ town. Finding a driver to pick up there within a 3 day window was nearly impossible. However, David was able to succeed one day outside of out time frame.
However, since we were flying out of Phoenix, David worked with us to find a driver within a very small window. He communicated with us several times to work within our unique set of circumstances. The added benefit was a lower cost since we shipped from a major city.
The only thing we questioned were the charges. We were told the brokers fee was included in the quote. However, it was additional. We did not address this with David or ShipACarDirect since they'd gone above and beyond to get our cars across country and we had such a great experience.
The actual shipping was stress free. We had no worries. The Aledi LLC driver communicated effectively every step of the way so we knew exactly what was happening.
In short, we would not hesitate to ship with ShipACarDirect again. We've shied away from auto purchases because we were concerned about shipping cars and the associated costs. Never again. We've already recommended ShipACarDirect to an associate looking to transport their vehicle.
Disclaimer: We were offered a very small rebate to write this review. Before then, I'd already drafted a recommendation. As stated above, we've already told people about our worry free experience.

Thank you for your positive feedback, Amy! You bring up an important issue about pricing, and you actually covered the pricing discrepancy in your comment about your smaller AZ town. The deposit is always included in the quote. The deposit was not added on later, but rather the cost to the carrier increased. So sorry for the confusion - we recommended the original price for shipping out of a different city, but confirmed a carrier for your smaller southern town for the increased price. Sorry that wasn't more clear at the time, but glad it was otherwise a worry-free experience!
