My Experience with Ship a Car Direct

After submitting my initial bid, I waited about 2 weeks before attempting to book with Ship a Car direct. I had difficulty contacting the agent who had been emailing me after I obtained my estimate. The agents I talked to promised that someone would get back to me shortly, but I didn't hear from anyone for more than two days. This delay was understandable, as it turned out that my original bid had expired and my agent was on vacation - but I wish that information had been shared with me so that I hadn't spent that time worrying about the quality of the agency. Once I was contacted by my original agent, my service was very good. Matt was prompt about responding to my emails, answered all of my questions to my satisfaction, and told me how to take precautionary steps in the unlikely event my car was damaged, which made me feel better about the process. My car arrived several days earlier than estimated, and was undamaged. All in all, I would use Ship a Car direct again, but I strongly recommend requesting an estimate just before you're planning to book.

Thank you for your feedback, Taylor. Sorry your experience was only 3 stars because of the communication delay. You are right that there's no need to request a quote far in advance. Carriers confirm the week of pick-up, so there's no need to worry for weeks.
