My experience with Ship a Car Direct was extremely positive. On heels of my car suddenly breaking down and having another one available in another state, I felt enormously pressed for time, and moderately stressed regarding the uncertainty around orchestrating a car shipment for the first time.

After soliciting multiple competing offers from brokerages and carriers, Ship a Car Direct stood out for its: 1) professionalism, 2) transparency, and 3) commitment to completing the deliver.

Emily was my contact throughout the process, and I'll list a few details about my experience that resonated:

- At the outset, she educated me on industry dynamics between brokerages, carriers and consumers.
- She transparently communicated how pricing was set and how the carriers get marched with requests online
- She explained that safe transport was guaranteed or the carrier would pay for the repair, because all their carriers are bonded and insured.
- When an initial carrier was assigned and broke down suddenly, Emily was very prompt and proactive in getting a replacement carrier ready for pickup the next business day.
- She communicated proactively and followed up regularly
- Emily was polite, pleasant and professional throughout the whole process

Here are some values I would ascribe to my experience with Ship a Car Direct:
- Professional, polite, and committed customer service
- Transparency in the process
- On time and fast delivery
- Peace of mind

The only place where Ship A Car may make less sense for some customers is on price. For some price sensitive customers who can afford to engage directly with carriers, wait longer, or have experience dealing with the industry, Ship a Car is slightly above market (about $50-$100 more compared to some of my other offers). However, for lay people engaging in this activity for the first time and with the ability to pay, the slight relative premium is more than worth the piece of mind of getting a vehicle in one piece when you need it.

I would highly recommend Ship a Car Direct to prospective customers.
