Originally, I was going to tow my truck behind a 26 Foot Penske truck with the two front wheels off ground. Because a pickup needs to have the driveshaft removed and follow specific rules of distance
and speed, to protect the truck, I decided to spend the extra money and have it transported. It also
lowers the amount of miles per gallon of gas you get. With ShipACarDirect, you can make arrangements at the last minute. You may not get the exact pickup date, but within a day or two usually. With a 26 foot Penske truck, the cost was under $3,000. Gas was about $1,300. My driver Glenn from Glennsdrivingservice.com charged me about $1,500.00 for his part of the deal. I highly recommend him and his service. Because the area in California where the car was delivered is more out of the way, my truck was delivered to my new home on a small flatbed for one car. Both driver's on each end of my trip were friendly, and polite and I felt good after each exchange. I felt taken care of. From my first contact with Dale, and through the whole experience, I felt heard, and any concerns were swiftly resolved. Moving is a very stressful time. You must have tremendous trust to believe some stranger is going to have your needs held with the utmost importance. I am thrilled with everyone that was a part of my big move to California. Thank you ShipACarDirect for driving my truck for me, so I could ride the train and enjoy the view all the way to California. It flowed....
