I chose Ship a Car Direct to transport my Toyota RAV4 from central OH to San Francisco Bay Area.
The initial sales pitch after having requested a quote was a bit overwhelming but as it turned out pretty much accurate. I made my request fairly early (about 1 week before expected pickup date). Then I didn't hear anything back for a few days, got worried, sent a few frantic emails (turns out the rep assigned to me wasn't available and apparently emails aren't being re-routed to other reps in such cases). Eventually I got in touch with my rep and was told to keep calm and that it was still early enough. And the day before the expected pickup date I got assigned the carrier, Euro Auto Transport.
The driver, as it turned out, was already in my area so I dropped my car with him the same day. It was expected to arrive the day following my arrival to San Francisco (by air), so I thought I'd have to take a rental, but Ramo, the excellent driver of Euro Auto Transport managed to meet me late evening close to the airport so I didn't need a rental after all.
The car was dirty on the outside, as expected, but a simple car wash took care of it. Everything else was intact. Overall, I think I had an excellent experience in this industry full of surprises (I got the pleasant ones :-) )
