I would HIGHLY recommend Ship a Car Direct and will certainly use them again (see the details of our experience below). THE ONLY DRAWBACK is that our quote/contract said that we would receive a $30 rebate after our car was delivered, but Matt made it sound like that is conditional on us checking the box that we weren't given an incentive to write this review. **I suspect that many (possibly all?) of Ship-a-Car Direct's customers were actually given incentives to write reviews on this site and then mark the box saying that they weren't offered an incentive, which is VERY disappointing after the great service we received!** I would have written a great review without being offered an incentive if simply asked.

I will obviously check the box saying that I WAS offered an incentive. I am not sure I am going to receive the rebate now, but if my estimation of Ship A Car Direct's customer service is correct (all of the other service we have received has been very high quality), they will still give me the rebate. I will be back on here to report if they don't- if you don't hear back from me, assume that you can still get your rebate without checking the box.

Here are the very positive details of our experience with Ship a Car Direct:

We used Ship-a-Car Direct to ship our car from Las Vegas, Nevada to the DC Metro area of Maryland, and our whole experience was great. We had previously contracted with a different transport company (Road Runner) to ship our car out of Caliente, Nevada (which is quite a rural area), but the other carrier had repeatedly delayed the order and completely failed at customer service and even asked for more money, and time was running out, so we tried to find the best-rated carrier we could to get our car shipped out of Vegas the same day that we were scheduled to fly out, and we made the right choice with Ship-a-Car Direct.

Matt was very helpful with his customer service, and he worked it out so that we could get the car shipped from Vegas the exact day we needed to have it done. He even worked out a plan to offer another $100 to a driver if he could guarantee pick up on that day (and made it very clear up front that that was what we would do), but we had no problem finding a driver that could for sure pick up that day without even using the $100. So even though I had agreed to pay an extra $100 for specific day pick-up, Matt did not require the money, which was a very welcome surprise. I felt like the service was above and beyond what was required.

Our driver (Zaza) from Pacific Transportation (the contracted carrier) was also extraordinary- he went out of his way to be friendly, helpful, maintain good communication, and just help us out and make the experience pleasant. Our car was delivered on time and in perfect condition (though it was a little dirty on the outside). Pacific Transportation's part of this transaction was perfect.

Thanks for the 5 star feedback, Chas! Sorry about the confusion around the rebate, not quite sure where the misunderstanding occurred. As you know, we have rebated you as discussed. (We would have done whether or not you checked the box or whether or not your review was positive.) More than anything, we are thrilled that you are happy with the transport service!
