Other than the fact that my original contact person left the company temporarily to perform in a Broadway play without notification, my experience with Ship a Car Direct was a pretty positive experience. The car was picked up on the day requested, however it was several hours later than originally arranged. That had my sister walking back in the dark from a parking lot at 11PM. The drop off occurred on the day arranged, but again a few hours late. The car was absolutely filthy, but the truck had been coming through a winter storm.

So, this all sounds a little negative, but I promise you it's not. My first experience with transporting a car was a nightmare and cost nearly twice what was quoted and took much, much longer. This was a piece of cake in comparison. Ship a Car Direct delivers what they promise.

Thanks for the positive review! You bring up a good point about timing estimates: while your driver wants to give you a realistic arrival time, the route is completely unique and untimed. Weather or issues with other customers can throw the schedule off, so it's a good idea to have a back up or a buddy if possible. So sorry your sister was inconvenienced.
