It was a good experience overall. Ship-A-Car direct & Ace Transport did a 1st class job and I would recommend to all. Emily at SACD is pleasant and well informed. Ace Transport is the carrier and had late model equipment that looked up to the task. Lee the driver was very professional and clean. Lee had a heavy Asian accent but got the message across after repeating. This did not bother me or the receiving party at all because of the 1st class job they did (and the confidence that my auto would be delivered w/o any issues). To show what a 1st class outfit Ace Transport is, after getting to the drop off destination (Calif), Lee the driver, unloaded and personally delivered the car to the receiving party (because the person there had a broken ankle/leg and couldn't drive). Lee was then going to walk back on foot, but the receiving party had a neighbor give him a ride back to his rig (which was several blocks away from the delivery point). This brings up a point that everyone should realize, this car carrier is a huge (big) piece of equipment with a large diesel tractor and a double decker trailer capable of hauling 8+ cars. Chances are these rigs will NOT be able to access many residential neighborhoods, so it is probable you will have to meet at a nearby shopping center or some place that this rig will fit (so loading and unloading can take place). There was no inconvenience to either party in my transaction on this loading/unloading topic. Ace Transport was able to find an acceptable loading/unloading place near both pick-up and delivery points.
I would ship a car again with the same parties if there is ever a need to.

Thanks for the amazing review! We agree, Ace is one of the most professional carriers in the business. And you make a very important point about the size of the rig - it's something that many folks don't consider, but it's a good idea to have a plan B meeting place or contact if the truck can't safely load/unload on your street.
