I was in contact with Ship a Car Direct a couple weeks prior to actually needing to ship the car. The process was smooth, they provided instructions and answered all my questions. When it came time to ship, I called them and to my surprise, they called back in about 30 mins and said they can pick up the car the next day. They came on time to pick up the car. They gave an estimate of 6 days to deliver but ended up delivering a day early, which was fine with me, no complaints.

The delivery guy asked for COD which I did not have cash available at the time. Luckily, I was able to make a run to bank on a weekend to get the cash. I went back and read my emails and it did state that it was COD so it was my oversight but it could have been a bit more clear. I may have missed it during one of my conversations with them but not a big deal.

For delivering a 1999 Lexus GS300, I thought the price was just a bit high but I went with them based on their great reviews and the process was smooth and car delivered quickly with no problems.

I would recommend their service.

Thanks for the good feedback, Dave! Sorry for the last minute scramble but you bring up a really good point about cash on delivery: it is the standard payment method for carriers in this industry. We do try to make sure all customers are aware of it (it's listed in the terms and conditions, the dispatch notice, the FAQs on our website, etc.) but it still seems to surprise some folks from time to time.
