Paul with ship a car direct was great. Overall shipping a car is always a risky endeavor. Just because ship a car direct has great employees doesn't mean they have any control over the carriers actions or ability to answer their phones or follow directions. On the day of delivery I got a call saying you need to go to a bank of America and do a direct deposit and be at your house at this time or we will have your car for another 3 weeks! Being carless and having to work that day and not knowing anyone in the area I was a little upset. I called Paul and he set the carrier company strait and was able to work out a deal that I could pay in cash and that the carrier would call me when an hour away and arrive at my work and wait if necessary ( because I am a nurse.) Now mind you I have been calling for days trying to get in touch with the carrier for an estimate on delivery so I could avoid this scenario. The carrier agreed but still did not end up calling or even answering my calls until almost midnight that night when he called 15 min before arriving. He refused to wait and I had to call paul late at night on the east coast while at work and again he saved the day. So basically I want to give Ship a car direct 5 stars and the carrier zero so I compromised at 4. Paul went above and beyond the call of duty to help me get my car which was a must in a new city with a new job and a new house! Another word to the wise, when the carrier got there he refused to let me test drive the car without handing him the money first! Thank god I had a friend with me ! I had to make him get in my car and drive it because I was also scared he would run off with my money ! Not the best experience at all but my car arrived safe and sound thank god.
