Ship a Car Customer Service & Transport Truck Delays

In regards to my experience with the transport truck driver, he had some pick up and drop off issues with other customers. He was late picking up my car due to traffic that delayed his last drop off before being able to pick up my car. Then he got another pick up scheduled for the next day so he arrived later than expected to pick up my car. He was a day late delivering my car because of pick a up that he had scheduled, but when he arrived to that pick up the car was not transportable due to mechanical issues. So he arrived late for his another pick up on the way but arrived too late and had to wait until the following day to deliver my car. He was supposed to drop it off by noon that day but had to make an emergency stop for new tires for the transport truck. Even though he was running late delivering my car he was in contact with me during the whole process. He always kept me updated on where he was and why he was being delayed. The delays were out of his control due to the various issues I have stated above.

Thanks for the A+ review, Jerri! You bring up a really good point about timing - the estimates that carriers provide are projections and not a locked-in schedule. It's best to leave some flexiblity in your day around the carrier's estimates.
