Over the past several years we have shipped several cars across country with other providers dropping the cars off at central depots. We thought we would try a door to door shipment this time, and found the experience excellent. Although we expected to have the actual transport driver and long haul truck pick the car up, actually the transport company put the car on a flat bed to take to a central location. Either way, pick up was smooth and car arrived in quick order to Philadephia. Probably helped that we shipped between 2 major cities. Arranged to meet driver in mall parking area not at house though as driver was concerned with access, but worked out fine. Overall very prompt and cost effective.
