It took a while to get a carrier to commit because it was a busy time of year. After a number of calls to check whether we had a carrier, I was told that an increase of $50 would make a difference. We immediately got a carrier to sign up. If I had known that it was so price sensitive I might have saved some anxiety

Thanks for your review, Larry! You bring up a great point - price can affect options for pick-up. Because many truckers celebrate holidays like labor day, shipping over a holiday weekend can often require a slight pay increase.
