It did not feel like our contact at Safe-Direct was very prompt in responding to our messages. (We usually got the answering machine.)

It also seemed to take much longer than I expected to be assigned a carrier. Our order with Safe-Direct was placed on June 12th. They assigned us a carrier on June 17th. And, although it was not Safe-Direct's fault, the carrier delayed the pickup of our vehicle for several says as well.

I am not sure whether I will use Safe-Direct or another broker again in the future. Many of the reviews and advice I read on the internet was to find a highly rated carrier with a long and reputable history. I ended up finding that a handful of brokers had the highest number of good reviews. I assumed that that was because they knew who the reputable carriers were, but I'm not convinced that this is worth the extra cost. Despite the fact that finding with comparable ratings seems daunting, I'll probably give it try next time.
