Car Damaged by Nationwide Transit - READ THIS

Let me start by saying the Safe-Direct was not responsible for the damage to my vehicle, however, they did hire the company that ultimately transported the car and caused the damage.

As a broker, Safe-Direct was very prompt, knowledgeable and had excellent follow-up regarding the vehicle, especially when they learned it had been damaged by the carrier. Tom provided all the insurance details from the carrier and asked if there was anything else he could do to help.

Nationwide Transit on the other hand was the company that Safe-Direct hired to do the transport and I have appropriately negative things to say about them, but will post them in a separate review.

Suffice it to say, when your vehicle arrives, be sure to do the following:
1. Take photos of the vehicle while it is still on the transport
2. Inspect for damage both while on the transport and after it has been unloaded
3. Take MANY photos (digital film is cheap)
4. WASH the vehicle to remove the dust/dirt and do a final inspection
5. Document ANY/ALL damage that you see
6. Do NOT let the driver pressure you into expediting your inspection
7. Do NOT sign the delivery form until you are 100% certain there is no damage
8. If you DO find damage after the driver has left, immediately call the company and file a damage claim
