Review of both SafeDirect and the Carrier

This was my first experience with transporting a car across the country. Safe-Direct was wonderful to work with. Brian Shay was my contact and he answered all my questions promptly and explained the process. The problem was with All Auto Access, the carrier. They were horrible to deal with. Absolutely no communication and did not coordinate with me at all. We were driving a rental truck across the country and were told 7-10 days to transport the car. So we planned our trip from CA to CT accordingly. The carrier waited until the day before to tell me they were dropping it off after only five days. We had to drive straight for 24 hours to make it back in time to meet them and then they didn't show up in the morning like they said they would and never called to tell me. They left me waiting over 2 hours after calling me and telling me to meet them at 7:30 pm on Saturday night and after several phone calls he finally showed up at 9:30 pm. This carrier company has no respect for the customer. I would recommend that Safe-Direct never use this carrier if they care about their customers. Even though the carrier was a nightmare, I would use Safe-Direct again as they have been extremely responsive and provided a lot of helpful tips.
