We had never shipped a car before, but heard a lot of antecdotes of bad experiences. Safe-direct fullfilled the promise on their website as a broker to help find you safe and effective transport. They put out my bid and acted as go-between on several occasions with the transport company. Jason at Safe-Direct always responded to my calls and emails, if not same day, within 24hrs. When the Transport company tried to change the pick up last minute, Jason was great about helping the Transport company stay on time. I don't know how he did it, but he got everything done as promised. I think if I had tried to do this myself, I would have had a completely frustrating experience. Safe-direct made it easy and straight forward.
I would use Safe-direct again, and recommend them to anyone. You should still pack your patience when dealing with the transport company, but Safe-direct really takes many of the pain points away, which is well worth the brokers fee.
